As an eco-resort reviewer who cherishes quality and comfort, I arrived at Brooklyn Broadway Hotel, expecting a pleasant stay in the Bed-Stuy district of Brooklyn. the location near the train station and dining options made exploring the city convenient. the room was equipped with essential amenities like a microwave, flat-screen TV, and air conditioning, catering well to my family's needs. Despite the affordable rates, the presence of homeless shelters within the hotel affected the overall ambiance. the staff, though kind, seemed uneasy, hinting at underlying safety concerns. This unexpected aspect dampened our experience, tarnishing the hotel's potential. the overpricing compared to the service and facilities provided left much to be desired. the promise of a 4-star experience fell short, highlighting a discrepancy between expectation and reality. While the hotel offered free WiFi and essential toiletries, it lacked the finesse one would anticipate from a higher-tier establishment.
